Iowa Braille & Sight Saving School:

On Saturday May 7, 2011  several CRCC members made the trip to the Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School in Vinton to provide fun rides and a poker run for the students Prom weekend and to just enjoy time together. This has become a regular event for CRCC.

Christmas Party:

As in past years, the weather did it to us again for the 2010 Christmas Party.  73 members braved the icy roads to have a great time. The party was held at the Indian Creek Country Club in Marion.  2010 Social Director Emily Rozinek made arrangements for dinner followed by live music from the jazz group known as "The Dick Watson Trio" allowing many CRCC members the opportunity to dance the night away.  Lyle Knutson put together a great members Corvette photo montage that was projected on the wall thru-out the evening.  During the evening the 2011 election results were announced.

Fall Leaf Cruise:

Sixty-five CRCC members went on the fall leaf cruise October 17, 2010.  The cruise left Marion thru Maquoketa, Bellvue, and across the Mississippi River at Clinton to a champagne brunch at Buck's Barn in Thomson, Illinois.

Halloween Party:

Forty-six CRCC members attended our 2011 Halloween Party, potluck, campfire, and hayrack ride on a FANTASTIC Saturday night October 8th.  Nobody left hungry!  Many enjoyed the bean bag toss games also.

GunderBurger Cruise:

September 11, 2010 was a beautiful scenic cruise and poker run for 43 CRCC members to the "Irish Shanty" Bar & Grill  in Gunder, Iowa for their famous 20 oz "Gunderburger" with a stop for ice cream in Guttenberg Iowa!

Route 66 Tour:

10 CRCC members traveled to Arizona for the 2010 Bloomington Gold Route 66 Tour.

CRCC & MWCC Joint Dubuque Cruise & Dinner:

On July 9, 2011, 134 members of both the Cedar Rapids Corvette Club and the Mid-West Corvette Club of Milan, IL met for the First Annual 'Vettes-On-The River' tour in Dubuque Iowa for a combined day of touring the sites and evening dinner along the river. 

New Year's Eve 2010:

Fourteen brave souls headed out into the blustery winds and mist on New Year's Eve December 31, 2010 to attend a New Year's Eve party at Shelly's "Down Under" room in Springville, Iowa.  Even though there were just a few of us there, everyone had a great time and GREAT food.
