Competition Schedule as of 4-17-2010
August 21, 2010 is the date for the
second
practice autocross held at Hawkeye
Downs Speedway in Cedar Rapids. Course setup
will start at 8:00AM. Tech and
registration starts at 10:00AM.
Practice autocross begins at 12 Noon
until 5:00PM. Run as many
times as you want or your tires
last! Very nominal fee of $10
per driver.
August
27, 28 & 29, 2010 are the dates for
the Cedar Rapids Corvette Club hosted Autocross at the Hawkeye Downs Speedway
in Cedar Rapids. A Corvette
weekend filled with speed and
excitement! Tech sessions are
available on Friday night at the
Clarion Hotel on 33rd Avenue
(hospitality room available also).
Racing starts at 9:00AM on both
Saturday and Sunday. There
will also be a pizza party at the
Clarion Hotel on Saturday night for
all racers and track workers.
This event is held in conjunction
with the Muscatine Corvette Club.

CRCC Autocross Event
Please
extend Janet and my sincere
thanks to the Host Clubs and
all the workers who put on
the Cedar Rapids events.
This is the first time we
have been able to attend
these events and were
impressed with the
dedication and
professionalism of those who
put on these events.
We also
appreciated the pizza dinner
on Sat. night. You all out
did yourselves with the
amount of food for Sat. and
Sun. lunch.
Thanks to
everyone's hospitality
extended to us for an
enjoyable weekend.
